Food Properties Knowledge Base
This knowledge base is a collection of food properties data and prediction formulas from published, peer-reviewed literature. These prediction formulas and data are connected to food composition data from the USDA food composition database, to make estimates for a broad range of foods simply by choosing the food and the formula. Users may store, retrieve, and visualize various properties and materials while also being able to edit the composition of each material for their specific application. Registered users may contribute and validate data, allowing the database to be an ever expanding community resource.
